Administrative Assistant

Location: Cleveland, OH

Summary: Maxus Capital Group is seeking a motivated and ambitious professional to join our team as Administrative Assistant.   As the administrative Assistant, you will serve as the first impression for our Corporate Headquarters. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting our organization, providing comprehensive administrative support, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This dynamic role will expose you to various aspects of our business, allowing you to build a solid foundation of skills and knowledge that will propel your career forward.

Salary: ($19.00 – $22.00)  Hourly wage negotiable based on experience

Job Type: Full time or Part time employee

Location: Cleveland, OH

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate company meetings and team events, including room booking, catering, etc.
  • Greet office visitors, such as clients, customers, and guests.
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail appropriately.
  • Reconcile, review and process company expense reports.
  • Prepare, proofread, and format various documents, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Manage office supplies inventory, including restocking and procurement.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support by processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
  • Oversee facility maintenance and services, including security, parking, cleaning, IT and general improvements to the building.

Required:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience:

  • At lease 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and handle highly confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
