Credit Analyst

Maxus provides a wide variety of capital offerings to corporate clients outside of traditional bank financing products. Our clients range from middle market to Fortune 500 companies and span a diverse mix of industry sectors and equipment types.
Summary: Maxus is looking for a full-time Credit Analyst in Cleveland, OH. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the Credit discovery/underwriting of new customers, analyzing the changing credit of existing customers, and generating presentations detailing the credit condition of both new and existing customers. Assist portfolio and risk management with in-depth analysis of client’s business and industries.

Responsibilities:
• Assist credit department with information collection and analysis
• Verify lease structure and terms conform to credit approval
• Collaborate with Credit and Portfolio as a transaction moves from a prospect to an active customer in the Maxus Portfolio
• Analyze existing exposures with Maxus and understand the changing credit condition of active customers
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
Requirements:
• BS required – finance, business, accounting, economics, or related field Experience
• 1-4 years of related experience – credit analyst / underwriting / account manager
• Candidates must be eligible to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship

• Experience in credit underwriting, portfolio management, or documentation
